Surprised to find so many crowd funding items from horse friends. ( I will now sound like the grumpy old woman I am fast becoming. ) These fundraisers are mostly for things the person in question wants. Its at moments like these I am forever grateful that my parents enforced no big gifts for birthdays, Christmas etc. Horses, cars, luxury items were decisions that require discussion, planning and organizing. If I want something I cant afford now, I work harder or look closely at why I want it and evaluate if its something reasonable that I should add to my life and budgets. Its not up to the world to provide me with things. Its up to me to earn them myself. Lifes hard, if you want something go earn it yourself. Dont expect life to hand you things. And always remember, you can want in one hand and $hit in the other, see which fills up first.
