Surrender Or Persevere It never ceases to amaze me how quick we are to surrender to failure. fail·ure #2 nonperformance of something due, required, or expected Perseverance is a key ingredient for success in our industry, but unfortunately too many fall for the hype of easy money, and then when it doesnt happen as fast as they expected, they are easily discouraged and give in to giving up. They surrender to failure instead of learning from it and and giving internet marketing another shot. Or, they become inflicted with shiny object syndrome and jump from biz opp to biz opp only to carry the same negative mind set from business to business, while never seeing any success because of the same old thinking. Success will always evade them till they establish a new growth mind set that includes perseverance. Perseverance gives one the best chance to succeed in any business opportunity. Without it failure is imminent every time. As for myself, once I created a new mind set I was able to give a minimum of a one year commitment to the company Im with now, (And the only company I promote) and Im happy to say for the first time Im seeing success. Perseverance is necessary in all areas of our lives. A relationship without the perseverance of both people involved is doomed to fail. It takes a lot more than just love to make it work. To be a good parent takes persistence in learning and growing to become a good example for their children. And the list goes on. Look at it this way. If one easily gives up with their first internet marketing experience, and jumps into another, what makes them think anything will be different this time, or the next time and the time after that? I can assure you the results will be the same unless the thinking process changes. Statistics show that over 90% of all people who attempt internet marketing wont last more than 90 days before they give up and quit altogether or jump into a new biz opp. Statistics also show that half of all online marketers are looking for a new business opportunity every 4 months. And of course we all know that only 3 – 5% of all internet marketers see any significant success. Its no secret perseverance plays a major roll in their success, which baffles me as to why we dont seem to be making very much headway in improving those stats when most see what the problem is. Maybe we arent shouting loud enough. Conclusion: There is no easy money to be made on line. If there is you can bet its illegal or immoral. So pick an established rock solid business opportunity with a product everyone needs, a great comp plan, training and marketing tools, honesty, transparency, and a great support group outside the company. Tune your mind set and give your business a one year minimum commitment, stick to it, and give it everything youve got. Only then will you become one of the 3 – 5% of successful entrepreneurs.
