Survey on Save Khatwari Darbar Kandivali Project............... .I visited the Khatwari darbar Kandivali branch along with our Sajans Raju Chhabria Parwani and Danish Nawaz...The visit was basically to survey and find out about the condition of khatwari darbar Kandivali branch which was in a very pathetic state in 2011......My inputs are as follows....The temple is not in such a bad condition that it was in 2011 but yes...if certain renovation is done as regards to painting the walls of the temple than it will make a wonderful difference ..Secondly...The kitchen area if worked upon like disposing the old 40 years cupboard and replacing with newer steel cabinets will make a difference....Thirdly....The wash room is nice with new tiles on all sides BUT there is no running water which if taken care will make a difference.. Fourthly the outer look can be renovated by putting new gates of the entrance and nice paintings will definitely make it an inviting atmosphere...... The remaining of the temple was in a reasonably good condition and also it was well cleaned.... Just before we reached a function that was conducted there was completed....On inquiry from the staff .;people do organise small functions and the temple along with the small hall outside (for lunch)is given on rent and can accommodate a capacity of 100 people....And rent charged is quite reasonable...They supply chairs..tables...Utensils...etc at a reasonable rent... ...So I conclude my survey as ...if a little effort is taken as regards to paintng.; renovating the old doors.; and arranging running water... The khatwari durbar Kandivali can turn out to be a fantastic temple as regards to holding functions with a capacity of 100 people at a reasonable rate.......Also along with idols of all Gods there is a nice Jhulelal idol too...Also there are path sahibs kept for those who wish to keep Akhand Path Sahib and Bhagwaad Path.... ..with this I conclude my findings...
