Survival Mindset: Absent multiple nuclear strikes on critical industrial targets, the United States would be able to sustain damage from a single - or even multiple low-yield nuclear detonations - even in major cities. Consider that a single medium-sized hurricane striking a major coastal city and causing ajor would not cause much disruption of normal operations in the area, region, or nation. Nor would it cause massive casualties. Consider Katrina - it cause more damage that several Hiroshima-sized nuclear bombs. We can and will survive any nuclear catastrophe in the nation.
