Susan Adams Cooper and I were inspired tonight at the Montgomery Quarterback Club by the challenging words of Leigh Anne Tuohy. You will recall Sandra Bullock playing Leigh Anne in The Blind Side. Hearing her story in person was energizing and convicting. Lots of takeaways for our community. Anyway, the challenge is simple: find a way to make a difference in someone elses life, especially those who dont look like you. Challenge accepted: the Coopers cannot keep spare cash to offer the people at our local exit ramps. BUT, we can keep a few bottles of water, a granola bar or two, and a card which helps route desperate people to the church where they can receive sustainable help. How will you make a difference?
