Susan Bevers was born and raised in Jackson County, Indiana. The daughter of Don and Judy Darlage, Susan is a graduate of St. John’s Lutheran School at Sauers and Seymour High School. She attended Purdue University, graduating with a degree in Agricultural Finance and Economics in 1999. She attended Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating with a jurisdoctorate in 2002. -- She began her local law practice as a deputy prosecuting attorney in the Jackson County Prosecutors Office, simultaneously developing her civil practice as time allowed. As her private practice grew, she affiliated with Jeff Lorenzo in 2006. -- Susan now concentrates her work on municipal law, estate planning, and business law. In addition, Susan has served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Seymour and is currently the attorney for Jackson County as well as the Seymour Municipal Airport Authority. -- She is a current or past member of the American Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association. Susan serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Jackson County, Leadership Jackson County, Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce and Child Care Network. She also serves on the community relations committee of the Schneck Medical Center Foundation. -- Susan, her husband, Bart and their two sons, reside in rural Jackson County. They are active members of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Sauers.
