The filmmake who had given Sushant his first big break in the world of Bollywood with ‘Kai Po Che’ had also roped him in for his next directorial ventrue, ‘Fitoor’ and he was being paired alongside Katrina Kaif. But now, we have learnt that Sushant Singh Rajput has walked out of the project after the dates of ‘Fitoor’ clashed with the dares of his another project, Shekhar Kapur’s film on the global water crisis. A source close to the director revealed, “Sushant went to meet Abhishek this week to request him to shift the shooting dates of ‘Fitoor’. The dates were locked for the middle of next year. Gattu turned down the request and told Sushant that no date changes will happen now. He told him very clearly that if he does not want to work with Katrina, another actor will happily fill his place.” So will the walking out of the project result in clashes between the mentor and the student? “Abhishek is obviously upset as he was the one who gave a big break to Sushant and now he doesn’t take his commitments seriously. The film dates were locked and a change at this stage of pre-production is extremely difficult. Abhishek will find a new actor soon,” added the source. Unfortunately, neither Sushant nor Abhishek were available for comment.
