Sushmana activation ! Before closing your eyes for meditation, make it sure that your sushumna nadi is active, before energy is generated, the sushumna passage must first be open. When sushumna is active, the breath flows through both nostrils simultaneously. Or when our both nostrils are open and air flows freely then it means our sushumna is active and open. Sushumna remains closed owing to the impurities of the nadis and with the help of pranayama we can purify it. Before sitting in meditation, do some cleansing pranayama such as kapaalbhati and nadi shodhana. With the 5 or 10 minutes practice of these pranayama, passage of sushumna will open and then close your eyes for meditation and see the diffrence, you will have strong and powerful experiences of deep meditation.
