Suspects in Grocery Store Burglary On 28 September 2014 at about 4:00 AM Tipton County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm call at Bucksnort Grocery located at 3392 Highway 59 West in Covington. Upon arrival deputies confirmed the business had been forcibly entered through the front window. Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division processed the scene and confirmed during the burglary, the two suspects were wearing dark colored clothing which included hoodies and wearing socks on their hands. The suspects entered the store and took lottery tickets, beer, cigarettes, and cash. The suspects fled on foot. During the burglary, one of the suspects cut himself and will have an injury to his arm. The second suspect has been identified as Lamarcus T Carpenter, 30 of 320 Carr Street in Covington. Carpenter has not been located but has active warrants related to the case. The first suspect has not been identified. The duo is fleeing from authorities and may be traveling in various vehicles in the Covington and Millington areas. “We need the Tipton County citizens’ help in identifying one suspect and locating Lamarcus T.
