Swampies, Summer is almost a month old, I have stayed in my corner of the world for ninety-nine percent of the time. The last week has been due to a summer cold, which is hanging on like a leech. Was bitten by a tick today, much to its demise over traveling in via Monet, was flushed down the toilet. Talking about bug bites, last week I was bitten by something in the middle of my arm; my wonderful hubby brought home a spray that helped with bug bites as well as the many poison things one gets trampin in the fields. Mine is Poison Sumac along with some poison ivy to boot. When I sprayed the medicine on it cooled everyplace of poison, but burnt the bug bite. Thus, now I have what looks like a second degree burn in the fold of my arm. Lucky the tick started chew was fully aware and stopped before it broke the skin. I watched a special on celebrities and addictions, I know at times I have said they chose this life and it goes with the territory. But, the percent of celebrities that have addiction problems to those who don’t is similar to those who aren’t famous. So, I learned some compassion lately with those whom the monster entices, sinks its claws into, and causes one to succumb to the evil within its spirit. No one is immune to this monster, whom am I to judge anyone who suffers, or stereotyping people who do? We lose far more non famous people to the monster’s victory of death, than those who are famous. What I need is compassion and show love towards all, wishing the best for all of mankind.
