Sweatshop Monthly Prize for July 2014 The Sweatshop prize is there each month to recognise someone for their achievements – that might be a huge improvement in their running or shows true parkrun spirit with that sense of community. This month Shrewsbury parkrun has decided to give it to a person that embodies everything that is parkrun. I know she is very humble and will be more than slightly embarrassed about receiving this but it is well deserved and I am sure you will all agree with my choice. Her running has improved fantastically since she first came along – improving by over 6 minutes. She has been to 6 different parkruns around the country and can be classed as a true parkrun tourist and ambassador for Shrewsbury parkrun. She has even been mentioned on the parkrun show and in the newsletter. She has been a regular volunteer and helps out behind the scene – reducing the workload for us that we really appreciate. I am very proud to announce this month’s Sweatshop prize winner is Margaret Connarty
