Sweden Days in Georgia 2013 Thursday 26/9 16.00 Europe House Book launch: “Pancakes for Findus” and “Findus and the Fox” FREE and open to the public. Bakur Sulakauri Publishing presents the Georgian translations of “Pancakes for Findus” and “Findus and the Fox” by famous Swedish author and illustrator Sven Nordqvist. 17.00 Europe House Opening of INTRACONNECTIVITY FREE and open to the public. The exhibition is open until 29/9. A mixed-media group exhibition with Swedish and Georgian artists. Maria Högbacke is a visual artist based in Sweden. She has exhibited in Germany, UK, and Georgia. Malin Ståhl is a Swedish based artist. She has previously shown her work in Iceland, UK, Poland, and Spain. Besik Kurasvhili is a Georgian artist currently living in Sweden. He works mainly with photography and still image. Levan Chikvanian is a self-studied painter and illustrator presently based in Georgia. He has exhibited in Germany and Netherlands. 18.00 Europe House Concert: Tikkle Me - FREE and open to the public. Swedish electro-pop duo “Tikkle Me” will give a short performance. The duo has previously performed in Belarus, Russia, Sweden, and Ukraine. 21.30 Funicular Concert: Tikkle Me - FREE and open to the public. A longer performance with the eclectic duo. Sweden Days in Georgia 2013 Friday 27/9 09.00- Marriot Courtyard Business Forum - by invitation only 15.00 Highlighting the many interesting business opportunities in Georgia the forum will focus on sectors with great potential such as energy, infrastructure, life sciences, agriculture and ICT. 10.00 Marriot Courtyard Opening of SWEDEN IN GEORGIA Exhibition FREE and open to the public A photo and document exhibition on over a century of Swedish-Georgian exchanges and relations.
