Sweet Lucky, The Gainesville Five Mixed breed, went to his new Doxie Tales foster home. I can not thank Katie and Steven enough for opening their home and hearts to him. They are both wonderful people and great animal lovers! Lucky craves human attention and he is getting it! He likes to sit on the sofa and in your lap. He likes to burrow under blankets. He thinks he is a dachshund. Katie and Steven have two larger sweet rescued dogs, a nice fenced back yard for playing, and they take a family walk every day for two miles. Lucky went on his first walk and did fantastic.Thank you Katie and Steven for you incredible kindness! Now, I just have to tell you the story of taking Lucky to meet Katie and Steven. First, Katie came outside with a little bag of treats to welcome Lucky. He was so appreciative he snatched the whole bag out of her hand in NO TIME! We almost didnt get it back! Next, we take Lucky inside their home. Lucky walked all over the house, over and over and over....exploring and sniffing away. OH NO..... I had just trimmed Luckys toenails, and trimmed one too close. There were blood spots everywhere.... and I do mean everywhere! (Hes fine, it stopped bleeding.) Anyway, Katie and Steven did not throw me or Lucky out! What a great impression I made, lol! Love, Ginger from Doxie Tales If you are interested in adopting Lucky, he promises to love you forever! He is a sweet, sweet dogie. He is about the size of a small schnauzer, neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, about 9 years old, and has VERY CLEAN teeth:) Please read the ABOUT section on our home page first, then send Doxie Tales a private message with your email address. We will gladly send you an adoption application:) Lucky; Lucky and his foster mom, Katie.
