Sweet Mario needs a home! This darling boy is a terrier/Welsh terrier mix. He is 6 years old and weighs 22 lbs. Mario was found in terrible condition wandering the streets of LA, covered in wounds, and likely not having felt a loving touch for quite a while. Despite his rough background, he is definitely a glass full kind of guy and his spirit is unbroken and his confidence is coming back. He lived on the streets for a while and is something of a Houdini so needs an escape proof environment and would do best with a foster who is home often as he LOVES and BONDS strongly with his person. He is a real cuddler and wants to be touching his person at all times...the poor boy was starving and neglected on the streets he is so craving of love it is both heartbreaking and endearing. He is housebroken and great with other dogs. Mario would make a good companion for anyone who can bring their dog to work or is home a lot and loves to be outdoors. He is a mellow boy who loves making new friends and cuddling with them. Mario will break your heart if you know the condition he was in when he was rescued, but he will warm your heart if you spend even a minute with him. It would be enough time realize that his spirit has never been broken, even when his life was hard. It didnt lessen his ability to love openly and freely, without question or judgment. He wants nothing more than a family to call his own, and home to be a part of. He is mellow and loves to nuzzle new friends. He is disarmingly endearing.
