Sweet Norman slipped away in his sleep last night. He was the most beautiful kind and loving dog that we could have ever been blessed with and we were lucky to have home as part of our life. He wandered into our world as a stray and became a well mannered and became a part of our family. He was our dog but was clearly a mommas boy. He anxiously awaited Danielles return in his absence and would walk through fire to stay by her side. Everybody on the lake knew Norman by name and people would often take pictures of him as he stood in command on the bow of his boat cruising the coves of the lake. Although he wasnt that strong a swimmer he loved time on the lake and island time was his zen place. He shared his home with dozens of foster dogs during his time with us, rarely if ever even raised a hackle and would treat a kitten as if it were his own. Although Norman wasnt thrilled when Colin first came around he became Colins best buddy. you will be missed sweet Norman. I pray that where you go there will be geese to chase, bones to chew and endless trash to get into
