Sweet Sarah was hanging out with Sam at the front gate this - TopicsExpress

Sweet Sarah was hanging out with Sam at the front gate this afternoon, as they watched for the neighbor dogs to come by. We live in a rural area, with a thicket of pine trees separating our yard from the hwy. Our property is fenced in, and Sarah is too large to fit through the fence and gates now, but we do have to keep a close eye on Hope, as she is small enough to walk right through the gate. I was so sad to see one of the neighboring dogs was hit and killed by a vehicle over the weekend. I have worried over his safety, but none of the neighbors have fences and their dogs live outside. We also do not have any laws to protect animals here either, and we see many roaming the streets, and many end up losing their lives this same way. So sad, and such a tragedy. We hope your evening is going along smoothly. As I type, Sarah is sitting in a kitchen chair next to my desk, and Hope is lying on the floor to my other side. Sam and Faith are in the family room with Tommy warming themselves by the fire. These two are hanging close to me because they want me to put them to bed. Usually around 7 PM they begin pacing and following my every step, as they wait for me to pick them up and put them in their beds. They each have a bed at the foot of my big bed. Sarah has a small baby bed and Hope has a playpen. They each are placed in their little beds and covered with their soft blankies each night between 7 and 8 PM, and they stay in their beds until around 6 or 6:30 AM. I suppose I have tortured them long enough as their little eyes can barely stay opened any longer. So, goodnight to all of our Sandy Wayne family and remember to Pay it Forward
