Sweetz Rene That light That light that shone through her Was of a color some had not yet discovered Everyone was drawn into her world Her inner child that little girl Who wasnt afraid to take a chance She let her heart lead the way Her light shone upon the world Bright and warm she made Everyones day She gave them hope and their spirits were ignited With passion and love Man woman and child could see They could see life more clearly They learned to forgive How to live Without judgement She showed them how to be free Gave them reasons to smile more frequently How to give without wanting to receive That light that shone through her Was of a color that some didnt want to discover Because they were to busy loving themselves Instead of loving each other She told of her secret of where her light came from How it helped her to become To become a better person From the inside out It was because of this her life didnt worsen See, this little secret wasnt a secret at all She told them if you would just pick it up Open and read it And let it penetrate your heart Your life would also be this shining light You dont have to be a scholar or have book smarts But what it is you have to do Is not just read but act accordingly too Pick it up and open it and start to read And your soul it will feed Her light came from reading the BIBLE!!!
