Swim Instructor - Part Time Cardel Place - Calgary, AB SWIM INSTRUCTOR – PART TIME We are searching for an energetic, qualified and experienced individual to instruct our swim program! If you are a certified, experienced swim instructor with strong leadership skills and the desire to create memorable customer experiences, we want you! You will: 1. Evaluate and record student progress and attendance 2. Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed by all pool users 3. Respond to customer questions 4. Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities and facility functions 5. Assist and/or lead in emergency situations 6. Assist in creating and maintaining a safe work environment 7. Be a positive role model for our vision, values and commitment to our customer experience The Experience and Skills Required: 1. Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification 2. Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C/AED Certifications 3. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills 4. A high sense of urgency; ability to stay calm in emergency situations 5. Desire to create meaningful customer experiences 6. The ability to work flexible hours in a team oriented yet self-directed work environment 7. A Strong work ethic and initiative relating to continuous improvement 8.
