Swing shift was busy with calls for service, including: Burglary/Mal Injury - Officers responded to an unsecure premise on Osprey Dr. RP reported seeing back door ajar and also advised the house was currently vacant. Officers arrived on scene and cleared the residence. Did not appear anything was missing but the door jam to the back door was busted. Recovered Stolen Vehicle/Leaving scene property damage crash - Officers responded to the open field just west of Walmart west for report of an unknown injury accident. While enroute we were informed RP observed 5 individuals, 3 males and 2 females, exit the vehicle and walk towards Walmart. Officers arrived on scene and were unable to locate the subjects involved in the crash. After making contact with the owner of the vehicle it was determined the vehicle had been stolen out of Spokane, which was reported to Crime Check at that time. Vehicle was towed due to leaking of oil and damage to vehicle. DWP - Officers initiated a traffic stop on a Toyota pick up after running the license plate which returned to a silver Jeep. The driver who was found to be driving on a suspended license and was also unable to provide insurance for the vehicle. The driver was cited and released for DWP. Driver was also informed not to drive until his license was valid again. Agency Assist - Officers responded to an unknown trouble call at Fire Station 1 after they were informed a male had walked into the station and there was an unknown situation. Officers arrived on scene to find an obviously intoxicated male inside the fire station speaking with medical. It was determined the male was seeking help for some reactions he was having after taking some sleep medications. Medical checked him out and officers gave him a ride back to his residence since he was not ok to drive. (JO)
