Swing shift was very busy and officers responded to approximately 35 calls for service from 15:00 to 19:00 hours. Residential burglary/Unlawful entry on Goldenrod Ct.- R/P came home and noticed multiple items inside her home that were missing, including 3 Tv’s. R/P believes the suspect is a family member at this time. Residential burglary on E. Seltice Way - R/P discovered that he was missing a new red Sears compressor and a 6 pack of Corona beer from his residence. There were footprints in the snow leading away from the back of his residence and towards the Comfort Inn, and he made contact with the front desk clerk who advised him a suspicious male in his 20’s was hanging around the business but left after they told him they would call the police. Attempted burglary/shoplifter at Wal-mart - Female entered the store and filled up an entire shopping cart and then attempted to push it out the door without paying for the items. The female left the shopping cart behind after store employees took notice of her. She fled in a Silver Mini -Van with Washington plates. Theft on S. Greensferry Road - R/P advised he came home and his roommates had removed all of his items from his home and placed them in the yard. R/P reported that he is missing a lot of property. Attempted burglary/shoplifting at Wal-Mart - Unknown suspect(s) entered the store, filled up a shopping cart and attempted to push it out the door without paying. When employees took notice the suspects fled in a gold Honda Accord. (JO)
