Swordfish is now available..!! We have started cutting fresh swordfish steaks. Swordfish around the world is a highly prized fish. They spend thier lives in very deep water coming up only at night to feed near the surface....The flesh is firm and very tasty. Excellent for grilling. Grilled with just butter and lemon it is out of this world good. We cut an entire steak leaving the skin on and taking the bones out. It is a gorgeous piece of fish. Our retailers are adding it to their stock and several restaurants have added swordfish to the menu. This is prime season for swordfish. Give it a try at one of our food service partners or pick it up from our retail partners for your next bar b que... Recipe 1 swordfish steak 1/4 cup olive oil juice of 1/2 a lemon 1 tablespoon capers 1 tablespoon fresh oregano salt and pepper to taste lemon wedges Wash and pat dry fish salt and pepper both sides. Combine all ingredients and marinate the fish for at least 30 minutes. Remove and place on oiled hot grill, cook for 3 minutes on each side. Spoon marinade over fish and serve. Serves 2
