Syed Ali Gilani appreciates Pak PM’s statement on Kashmir Srinagar, September 29 (G.K): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has appreciated the assertion of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, in the UN General Assembly wherein he stressed settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per the relevant UN resolutions. Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar asked the government of Pakistan to intensify its diplomatic efforts to highlight the civilian killings and human right abuses in occupied Kashmir on the international forums. The veteran leader said that he favoured the dialogue between Pakistan and India in principle and the two countries should concentrate on the core issue rather than mutual trade. #kashmirnow
