Symposium Action Research Teams Last week two teams of teachers presented their research findings at the National Partnerships conference. Miss Blackadder and Mrs Betteridge worked with some teachers from Mt View High School on a project looking at the aspirations of the students and families in Cessnock. One of the team’s recommendations was to incorporate some additional programs and opportunities to learn about career paths and tertiary study into primary schools. The other team including Mrs McGlashan, Mr Vogel and myself researched the similarities and differences between the X, Y and Z generations and the implications for teaching and learning. It was a terrific learning opportunity for our staff members and a great credit to the school that they were invited to present at the conference.
