Synchronicities. To my left, while I write, is The Readers - TopicsExpress

Synchronicities. To my left, while I write, is The Readers Digest Great Encyclopedic Dictionary, and I refer to it often and cant help noting words nearby to those I was researching. Yesterday, I noted the word simony -- trafficking in sacred items -- a word for which there is little need now, though there used to be. Not an hour later, Im reading a Middle English John Skelton poem and I come across the word simony. Yesterday I also watched the news and there was a field reporter whose first name was Sanaa. I noted the name, how unusual. Five minutes ago Im looking in my dictionary for the relationship between sanatory and sanitary and my straying eye notes the word Sanaa, capital of Yemen. Odd. These synchronicities afflict me on a daily basis.
