Synchronicity Post #2 for Wednesday evening: Right after the clip from the Shameless TV show landed in my inbox, we left to run a few errands. On the way home from the short trip, we stopped for a big batch of fries at a local favorite spot. The burger joint always has their big TVs running and I happened to overhear a commercial starting with a woman singing Rapture by Blondie. I looked up to check out what it was pitching...and it was an ad for the new Acura SUV. THE MOMENT I heard the ad start with the line: Fab 5 Freddy told me everybodys fly... I thought, ...if shes singing that, they DAMN SURE SHOULDA CALLED FAB AND GOTTEN HIS INPUT!, laughing at the idea. Well, right at the end, whos in the video but Mr. Fred Brathwaite, laid back with a Kangol and his requisite shades at a board room table. DAMN SON. LIKE A BOSS. Like I said, I just laugh at this stuff anymore. Creating your own reality can be a lot of fun. Try it sometime :)
