Synergy Baku commemorated the 20 January National Day of Mourning Azerbaijans first continental team Synergy Baku together with the national MTB riders of Azerbaijan, who will represent their country at the first Baku 2015 European Games, have already commenced their first winter season training in Calpe, Spain. From the very first days of their trainings the riders have worn black arm bands, which mentions back to the tragic history of Azerbaijan about 25 years ago - the black 20 January in 1990. During the commemoration the riders under the command of the General Secretary of the Cycling Federation of Azerbaijan Farhad Aliyev have paid respect to the spirit of all martyrs with a minute of silence. During the ceremony the General Secretary has also explained the tragedy to the young riders who have not witnessed the those days. Meanwhile the riders have continued to their training day with 200km distance through mountains. The training session will last until 30 January.
