Synopsis: At 4:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 240 km east of BAler, Aurora (15.5ºN, 124.0ºE). Forecast: Metro Manila, the Regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will have moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Luzon and Western Visayas will experience light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds coming from the southwest to west will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
