Synopsis of todays JUMAAT Sermon delivered by Alhaji Lawal K. K. O. 02:48Pm, 28th March 2014 - Written by AbdulAFEEZ Arishekola. Almighty Allah deserves all Thanks, Praises and adoration, to him we give it to, to him we come, to him we return, to him we shall be raised again & to him shall adjudge us all. May his choicest of blessings be showered on the teacher of all mankind, the seal of prophethood, the leader of the world, the one with the best of characters & the purest heart, Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), his household, his companions & the assemblage of muslims till the day of recompense. ...Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) is the real meaning and basis of all originality and existence! Allahs greatest power only knows the cause of events & he has the perfect knowledge of everything visible/invisible to men. We bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship & submitting to except Almighty Allah (S.W.T). May our feet continue to firm on the salvation path (Al-Islam) The Jumaat sermon started at exactly 1:10PM at the University Central Mosque, Tasued Campus & the Imam mounted the Pulpit after the second Call to Prayer (Adhan). The topic(s) of todays sermon was double-barreled, triply-centered, multi-directed & all-encompassing. First Topic; Reasoning about Allahs creatures. Second Topic; Khalimotul Tawheed (La Illaha illah Lahu). In truism, Almighty Allah perfected his blessings on us for making us MUSLIMS and not ordinary MUSLIMS but CONSCIOUS & PRACTICING MUSLIMS, May Almighty Allah make us PIOUS MUSLIMS, Al-Muhmeen/Al-Muhmeenat. We seek Allahs forgiveness over our sins & inequities, we seek his assistance on our endeavours as well The cleric said; Almighty Allah is beyond all descriptions, he is above everything you can imagine to describe him - dont reason/think extremely about Almighty Allah, how he exists, his looks/posture, where he is (He is everywhere) & others. ...Think and rigorously ponder on Almighty Allahs creatures and praise his most exalted companionship for being the creator of creatures, Alhaji Lawal said. Ibn Abass reported; Think about Allahs creatures & dont ever think about how Allah exists, for you not transgress Our Lord, bless us with mercy from Your own and provide us with guidance in our matters.Quran 18:10 SECOND TOPIC (Khalimot-Tawheed - La ilaha illa lah); In his sermon to the congregation, he made known the importance Khalimot-Tawheed - La ilaha illa laho to Muslims, they are as follows; 1. It makes men realize that he is created by Almighty Allah, who is ONE and associates no partner(s). 2.It is the backbone of the Ummah 3. It is the greatest weapon used by our forebears, for JIHAD especially in the South-western and Northern region of Nigeria. 4. It is the unlocking key of all doors to heaven and earth. 5. It makes man knows (recognizes) why he was created, and that he is demanded to worship Almighty Allah without attributing partners to him; it is also incumbent upon him to guide people. 6. Almighty Allah himself testifies to his existence with this Khalimotu-Tawheed (La ilaha illa Lahu) - Suratul Al-Imran Q3 V 18. 7. It makes Muslims to be tranquil, relaxed and optimistic, Khalimotu Tawheed - Lailaha illa Lahu serves as an elixir for all ailments and problems facing Muslims. The following are the fruits of believing in Almighty Allah - Khalimotu-Tawheed (La illaha illa Lahu); - Increase of faith - Performance of righteous deeds and shunning evil deeds - Tranquility and peace of mind - Freedom from being enslaved to other than Almighty Allah. One year rememberance prayer for the death of our brother; Ladejobi Abdul-Hakeem was done too and this left the congregates in a sobering and pensive mood. Death is real indeed! Inna Lilahi Waina Ilaehi Rajiun!!! May Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest, peace in the grave and Al-Jannah Firdaus. Lets start donating and contributing to the mosque building to be part of those that can beat their chest and say Im a part of potential inmate of Al-jannah, We encourage those who have been a part of this mosque building and appreciate them all as well - Alhaji Lawal K. K. said. Alhaji K. K. also prayed for the peace and progress of Tasued community, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria and the world at large. The Jumaah prayer was led by the Imam with more than 900 Muslims at the mosque who stood behind the Imam for the once-in-a-week Solat (Prayer). Jummah Mubarak! INFORMATION! INFORMATION!!
