Synthetic Marijuana A Fair Assessment Re: Am-Hi-Cos Atomic Bomb Quote: Originally Posted by mrsolearyscow View Post Wonder whats in it that caused seizures in people. Which of course since it is all sold under a gimmick its not a long stretch for an unknowing user to do this. When I would smoke cannabis it wouldnt be uncommon for me to take 2 huge massive, packed to the rim, bowl hits. Now do that with almost any blend, especially some of the highly potent blends, and there you have OD effects. Synthetic cannabinoids are like weed you actually have to mindful of dose with. Just like there is a safe range for most recreational substances, the shocker is that marijuana has no mindful dose to be aware of, but its gimmick mimic does, which is what leads people into hospitals with ODs. An overdose is an overdose, just now in recent years potheads are finding this alternative has one opposed to long term weed smokers who never had to worry about their own drug dosage when it comes to well being generally. I really dont think though that the actual herbs used are heavily responsible...after all, it has always been a gimmick from the start. A legit front to get it sold and taxed on shelves. This is the same reason you will almost never find out what is in the blends...it would be like McDonalds giving away the ingredients for Big Mac Sauce. If people knew how to make it, they would just make their own. Same goes for these blends, no company in their right mind would provide the ingredients in their blend because in a world of greed, people would just make the blend on their own and undermine their effort to make a buck IMO. Ive even spoke to headshop owners, couple that know me well, asking them if they are privy to knowing the exact chemicals in the blends. They say the reports just come with enough information to let the people selling their product know their product is legal to put on their shelves. From a pure business point of view it wouldnt be smart to just list the exact chemicals used. Ingridients arent listed on food products because the company wants to let you know what is in their food, they are listed because they have to abide by food regulations. This stuff is not under scrutiny of forced regulations like that. This wouldnt be the case if it wasnt such a grey area though and headshops could just sell cannabinoid powders and get away with it easily. I have seen minimal word and some speculation of non cannabinoid chemicals in blends, but I think that is far and few. I have tried more blends that Id probably want to realize and they all seem to be cannabinoids just in different potencies/combinations. I have heard of this blend though Am-Hi-Co Atomic bomb...it was one of my favorite in the 2010 era of blends, havent seen my headshop carry anything from them since though. The stuff I tried from them was very potent...such a tiny pinch goes a long way with these blends. Some of the blends around in current times (least in the US) people have speculated to have am-2201. Based on reports of how potent it is, it is pretty believable. I can take a couple shreds of leaves smaller than the total surface size of my pinky nail and get a recognizable buzz that feels good. I cant imagine an unsuspecting user taking some of my blends and just ripping the bowl full, or even doing so and packing another before it all fully manifests. If ya really want to reduce potency, dont use a less efficient smoking method at the cost of using more product inefficiently. Just efficiently burn, much much less product As I told people who started trying them...I would say. Set aside an amount that you think is too small to get you buzzed. Then, cut that amount in half. Chances are that you could divide that amount in half again and probably still get effects. Arent some of these cannabinoids quoted as being up to several 100 times more potent than THC? With that being said and if true, if a bowl of weed with 20 - 35% (whatever high potency bud is these days) THC content is enough to produce heavy effects, its no doubt a few sprayed leaves are all it takes to produce a relaxing regular high before you catapult into something way to high for recreation with the synthetics.
