Syria is my home. Can I ask you all to participate in a discussing about terms used to describe the men and women fighting inside Syria, against the Syrian Arab Army, and the civilian population. Should we call them: revolutionaries, terrorists, armed militants, rebels, opposition fighters, Jihadists, or Radical Islamic terrorists? Please reply to this question with your term of choice. I have used many different terms, but I did research of news articles as well as Islamic academic writing, in the fields of Islam, ideology, politics and the Syrian crisis, and I finally decided to use "Radical Islamic terrorists". Let me hear your thoughts.
