Syriaonline: manuelochsenreiter/blog/2013/8/11/death-road-to-aleppo The roads to the northern Syrian city of #Aleppo are still under attack by terrorist groups. On Saturday, August 10, a bus carrying civilians coming from Lebanon to Aleppo was attacked by a terrorist group of the so called "armed opposition" in #Syria. Dr. Amine Antaki, one of the bus passengers, was killed during that attack as per the witnesses. The terrorists shot at the bus on #Khanaser road to Aleppo to stop it. Dr. Antaki who sat behind the driver, was killed by a head shot during the attack. The #terrorists responsible for the attack are members of an jihadi extremist group. His wife survived the attack. Dr. Amine Antaki, born in 1944 in Syria, was a very well known gynecologist in Aleppo. He was considered as one of the best physicians in Syria. He was also involved in many social activities. Dr. Antaki holds both Syrian and #Canadian citizenship. Canada like other Western nations supports the so called "armed opposition" in Syria. In September 2012, the Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird and Vic Toews, Minister of Public Safety, announced that Canada had listed Syria as a state "that supports terrorism".
