System Administrator Jerusalem company is looking for a full time Linux Systems Administrator. Be a part of our Innovative and Energetic IT team, searching and introducing technologies to boost our product. Challenging and fascinating work environment. -Install, configure and optimize servers for customer and internal use. -Perform backups, handle malfunctions around the world -Communicate with 3rd party service suppliers and product support. -Operate Linux and Windows server on a daily basis -Administrative technical support for the company -Configure firewall, routers and switches for fluents and it’s clients -Client first Tier-1 Support for fluent Software and hosted solutions Desired Skills & Experience: -Experience of at least 3 years as IT staff. -Sys Admin proficiency in main Linux OS flavours: Redhat 6 and CentOS 6, Fedora, Ubuntu. -Microsoft Windows Proficiency: Administration level, know and understand latest Windows OS Releases, Windows 7/8, and Windows Servers 2008/2012: Microsoft Sql Server, Remote desktop, Etc. -Scripting: at least one of the following: BASH , Python, Perl -Infrastructure maintenance : LAMP, monitoring tools, -Bug management systems, e.g. Jira, Bugzilla, ... -Server configuration tools, e.g. OMSA, PSP, … -Networking knowhow: Arista/Force10 low latency routers, cisco, fotigate firewall setup, routing protocol, network security. -English Fluency, ability to communicate with offshore suppliers and contractors. -Support: ability to work out Company employees IT problem (Laptop/desktop/Wifi/Printing/etc.) -Forex knowledge, a plus. Advantage: Monitoring skills: nagios and the like. - nagios adv server configuration management: puppet/chef/salt Wiki Configuration Management: Ability to understand and support software developers: Makefile, Scons, RPM building, compilation and linkage. Experience with Financial market. RHCE Certificate is a plus. Hadoop cluster management Networking: Understanding fiber connectivity (Single and Multimode), L3 routing protocol such as BGP, unicast and multicast traffic, TCP & UDP, ability to troubleshoot using advanced techniques. Understanding Wifi. Familiarity with Firewalls setup and configuration. Fortigate Appliances is a plus.
