System Analyst - Application - Dairy Farm Group Contact - +65 6891 8000 Responsibilities The Service Analyst (Application Support) provides the 2nd level support and primary contact for standard to medium complexity applications in production. The incumbent also ensures continuous smooth operation of assigned production applications, and fulfill ad-hoc requests. The Service Analyst processes requests for services in the areas of user account management, change management notifications, store support activities and execute Standard Services requests. He will mainly be responsible for handling project management related to Front End application at stores. Manage Front end projects related to stores (Project Management) which includes coordination with business and vendors for the requirements, handling integration and user testing and managing implementation from pilot to full roll out. Handles problem isolation and issue resolution for minor to medium complexity applications. Carries out agreed maintenance tasks. Works closely with other teams such as developers and technical engineers for the resolution of identified issues. Monitors application performance, obtains performance statistics and alert teams to make recommendations for improvement. Assists in the handling of complex application systems in production. Executes user management activities for in-scope systems, escalates to respective teams for out-of-scope systems, monitors and provides email updates on status of user requests being handled. Facilitates approval of and announces via email all change management activities. Executes ad-hoc & procedures based activities and resolves common to complex service requests. Maintains records/files of all approved request for audit purposes. Obtains, compiles and reports customer survey statistics and other regular and ad hoc reports & statistics. Performs procedure based regular periodic tasks e.g. housekeeping, end-of-month, etc. Handle procurement related to the Banner Stores. Requirements At least a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, equivalent. Min 2-4 years experience as Field Support Engineer for stores related support. Have a good technical background related to hardware is required. Knowledge and experience in Operations Support, Network, and/or Retail System. Databases knowledge of MYSQL / Microsoft SQL / Postgress SQL, and ORACLE is a must. Must be able to work in Linux and Unix platform. Programming skills in Java will be added advantage. Knowledge of SDLS or project management will be added advantage. Posses good analytical, communication and trouble shooting skills and techniques.
