Systematic Marginalization of South-West (SW) in the present - TopicsExpress

Systematic Marginalization of South-West (SW) in the present administration. Its too late 4 Mr. President to woo d SW nation 2 back his re-election bid. 4 d past 5years under GEJ administration, d Yoruba people have been deliberately marginalized & skewed out of d nation reckoning, especially in terms of key appointment & opportunity 2 partake in d key sector of d economy. I believe d Ile-ife summit was conveyed by d people who are falsely parading themselves as leaders of d Yoruba race. Those people posing as Yoruba leaders knows that leadership in Yoruba land resides in treasured virtue of Afenifere & Omoluwabi philosophy, not necessarily in person. Yoruba people knows there leaders. I dare say that morethan any so-called leaders @ d event (Yoruba Progress Summit), those Ile-Ife students who brave all d odds to tell Mr. President d truth are d true leaders; irrespective of their origins. I salute d courage of those students who spoke truth in d face of Oppression & I enjoin every Nigerian 2 replicate their courageous act. No real Yoruba man or woman who support a Pan-Yoruba political & development agenda will vote Uncle Jonathan in d coming election, bcos d SW has not gain anything 4rm his administration. Jonathans 2nd term had earlier express dissappointment over what they describe as Systematic marginalization of d SW. in federal appointment. Jonathan got sympathy in 2011 in d SW. not bcos PDP but bcos he came 4rm minority group that had never ruled this nation. D same Jonathan as squandered that opportunity & relegated d SW. 2d background in d scheme of things. Despite d goodwill d people of SW. accorded him in 2011, what did they benefit 4rm his govt.?. Mr. President should not be misled by d self-serving leaders of PDP. in d SW. that d Yoruba would vote 4him in 2015.The so called leaders lack electoral value; Some of them cannot win their Wards. SW is d traditional home of d progressive. I dont c d reason where by d Yoruba people would this time abandon d APC which was co-founded by their leaders & other like minds across d country. Besides d politics of d SW. is based on principles & peoples interest. What have we gained from Jonathans regime so far? We have nothing to show 4d massive support he got 4rm SW in 2011. Apart 4rm d ministerial appointment which is constitutional. indeed d PDP. & its strategist in d presidency are believed 2b jittery over d realisation that losing d SW might caused them presidential election. Similarly, d party is also apprehensive over its fate in d North West & d North East zone of d country.
