PROVERBS 28:20 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY◦°˚ If you want to abound with the blessings of God, be faithful in your devotion to God. Over the last few days, God has been charging us on the subject of faithfulness. Today, we shall be examining 7 key areas where He wants us to be faithful. 1. Be faithful in your devotion to God: If you want to abound with the blessings of God, be faithful in your devotion to God; be faithful in your prayer life and personal Bible study. 2. Be faithful in your giving: Your giving is the proof of your love for God. Nobody can prove his or her love for God without giving (John 3:16). Never tamper with your tithe. 3. Be faithful in witnessing: Be faithful in evangelism; be faithful in changing other peoples lives; and in bringing people to know God. 4. Be faithful in Kingdom Service: Dont just sit in Church and do nothing. Be in active service for God. 5. Be faithful to duty: Wherever you work (either in the Church or in the office) be faithful in your duty. 6. Be faithful to your spouse: Any man or woman that is not faithful to his wife or her husband is cursed. Our anchor scripture says that it is the faithful that will abound in the blessing. The opposite of the blessing is the curse. A man once had an immoral relationship with a woman and when he got to the office the next day, he was given a sack letter. His boss did not know what he did the previous day but he was sacked because a curse followed him. There are many people whose lives are stagnated and stranded because of unfaithfulness. 7. Be faithful to your calling: What is your calling? Be faithful to your Divine assignment. Deploy the grace of God. Dont use your singing voice only in the bathroom; use it to sing for God. Remember this: If you want to abound with the blessings of God, be faithful in your devotion to God. PRAYER ۩ I receive the grace, Lord, to be faithful to You and to the people you have strategically placed in my life, in Jesus Name. ASSIGNMENT 1. Be faithful in every aspect of your relationship with God. 2. Be faithful in every aspect of your relationship with people, especially your spouse and at your place of work.
