T-26 hours till i fly home to San Fran to see my family for 6 days:) T-8 days till i fly to Mexico for 1.5 months to launch the pilot program for my new non-profit #Empoder yep...im launching a pilot program to #Educate under-resourced children in Mexico (beginning in Puebla) in Engineering & Computer Science. Goal: To develop a an educated technology-based workforce in Mexico (and eventually all of Latin America & Africa) that rivals India & China. Why? 1. To #Empower under-resourced nations throughout the world to become self-sustainable, thereby eliminating their dependance on the first world. 2. To #Empower under-resourced nations to compete globally when it comes to #technology & #innovation. sidenote: while im starting my non-profit in Mexico & Latin America (because its easier to do things there), Im also developing programs to educate under-resourced children throughout THIS beautiful country in engineering & computer science.. After all, our future survival as a country depends entirely on our ability to generate an educated workforce that excels in engineering & computer science (p.s. whoever develops the best technology in the future holds the key to the kingdom!) Our public school system is doing a sh*tty job of preparing our kids & our country for the future (less than 10% of K-12 schools in this country even teach computer science). However, we need to stop depending on our government to fix our broken public school system! We can do this ourselves!:) Am feeling beyond greatful that Ive had an amazing 2.5 year journey in NYC that has led to this very moment:) Ive experienced highs & lows lower than i ever couldve imagined all leading to this point. And yet, its all been worth it, cause now I know what Im meant to do ! :) Like pastor Carl Lentz @ #Hillsong (#church) says, Its in the depths of our despair that we discover our #purpose ...that couldnt be more true! Cant wait to embark on this next chapter of my life where I get to live out my #passion :)) Educating the next generation of innovators & leaders throughout the world...thats literally everything in life ! :) Anddddd thats it for my 5 am facebook rant lol. if anyone reads this, thats what im up to, thats why im leaving, and yep! ill be back!:) sooner or later...like the terminator says (is that who says it?) anyway, illl beee backkk ! lolol #Empoder #Empower #Educate we can do this! #SiSePuede
