... T.B.T... ... When I was growing up August always meant that the summer was almost over. This was reminded to me every year when my mom would drag me to the department store to go school shopping. I remember hours spent trying on clothes, picking out shoes and buying pencils and notebooks. I dreaded those trips, I would much rather have been, playing at the creek or riding the trails on my Huffy. The only saving grace to those ventures with mom was at the end, I would get to pick out a new lunchbox for the year, I remember standing in the aisle at K-Mart in awe, staring at all the cool ones there was to choose from and wanting to pick the best one. After all when your a second grader, having the right lunchbox was important. we all had our favorite one, what was yours? ~Bill~
