T&T Womens Hockey Team dropped 2 crucial points, slipping to second in Group B after drawing 0-0 to Guyana during the CAC Games in Veracruz, Mexico. The rescheduled match was originally to be played Monday last, but was postponed due to hazardous weather. It was therefore T&Ts second competitive game in 20 hours after drawing with Dominican Republic the day before. Group A winners Cuba will be T&T next opponents in the semifinals Darren Cowie played his 100th match for T&T in their 11-0 victory over Guatemala placing 2nd in Group A behind Cuba and advancing to the semi finals vs Group B winners Mexico. T&T opened the scoring early in the 28 second with a field goal from Kiel Murray, followed by Akim Toussant and Jordan Reynos all within the first 10 minutes. Marcus James netted his first of three in the 11th minute while Dillet Gilkes ended the first half 5-0 for T&T. #TeamTTO #Veracruz #TTOC
