T.U.L.I.P T - Total Depravity - man is born with a sin nature of corruptible seed. He will in fact battle and succumb to sin throughout His life. He is by nature a sinner and desires not the things of God. By nature we are chldren of wrath defying the things of God. This sin nature effects every part of a humans being: body, mind, and soul, etc. U - Unconditional Election - since Adam sinned and was condemned to death, all his posterity (mankind) is born into sin with a sin nature and also condemend to death cursed and separated from God (Romans). God chooses some out of sinful man to use for His goodwill and purposes. None are worthy not one. L - Limited atonement - those God elects will be saved. Not everyone who says Lord Lord will be saved. Jesus says I do not pray for everyone but those you give me Father. I - Irresistible grace - Those God elects will not be able to resist him. They will battle with their flesh but he will power assist the elect to follow his leading in the spirit. P - Perseverance of the Saints - those God elects will in fact be saved and preserver to the end. God uses conviction in the spirit to get man back in line.
