T minus 8 days: so glad its almost bedtime. neither one of us got much sleep last nite, and her more so than me. so I was a walking zombie all day, and she had to go through her day feeling even worse. Jaime started right at 7am, getting some heat applied to her upper back and shoulders, as theyre constantly sore. once she felt up to it, the walking practice started. both her OT and PT sessions are focusing on walking. monitoring how far, how fast, how stable and how tired she gets from it. of course she did it all like a champ, so its up to me to make sure she gets to bed early tonite and get some rest while she can. I got to spend a little time with Nico and Aysa today, both are counting down the days, and then mom and dad made sure I left with food. when I got to the room, my baby was waiting with a big smile and her Wonder Woman socks on. so appropriate. we ate dinner, opened still more cards, and then a beautiful gift from Dawn Croteau Benoit and family. Thank you Dawn! we also just got word that you can go to Charle Shoppee Clarks site to start to get details about the 5k being put on for J. were so so grateful. now its time for the heated blanket, some cuddling, and some sleep. shes got a week to go until she tackles the next chapter. thanks for taking the time. #CarnucciStrong
