Gerald is a 15 year US ARMY Veteran who on On 22 January 1991, elements of I Troop 3RD SQUADRON 3RD ARMORED CAVALRY REGIMENT led by the 63rd Colonel, Colonel Starr, engaged in the first ground combat of the XVIII Airborne Corps. The Regiments attack was successful in destroying an Iraqi Army outpost. SGT Gerald Fleming A Combat Life-Saver within the platoon was crucial in treating two wounded soldiers while moving under direct fire to aid his fellow comrades. For his outstanding courage & valor he was awarded the BRONZE STAR with V Device for Heroic Valor. Thank you Gerald for your service and thank you for being our DJ!!
