TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Mid-Level Assurance Engineer for one of our clients in Gaithersburg, MD. Must have an Active TS clearance or the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance This is a direct Permanent Hire offering upto $95k MAX with benefits package Job Description: *Acts as the Lead point of contact for Information Assurance and maintains security for the company WAN/LAN, and related Domain and Application Security requirements. *Performs as Lead on Network Security support - extended to permanent company satellite locations; includes use of Citrix to enhance usability and mandatory security, as well as, comprehensive Certification and Accreditation (C&A) activities for both Defense (DIACAP) and Civilian agencies (FISMA) project delivery requirements. *Management of user rights and permissions; document network configuration and changes. *Performs security relating to Defense Security Service requirements and implements security procedures (NISP policy, NISPOM procedures and FISMA Controls) for Secure Room(s) in Gaithersburg. *Resolves malicious software issues such as: error messages, viruses, spyware, and worms. *Coordinates and maintains the IT-related BOS documentation for company. Ensures all processes and work instructions are documented and up-to-date. *Provides support to the Helpdesk operations, as required. *Facilitates company WAN/LAN and related Domain Security and Application Security. Leads security efforts relating to Defense Security Service requirements and implements security procedures (NISP policy and NISPOM procedures). *Acts as qualified auditor for regulatory compliance under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Gramm-Leach-Bailey Act, HIPPA, SCADA, FFIEF and other regulations. Requirements: *Degree must be in Computer Science or other IA related field. *Must hold or working towards IA certification, including but not limited to: Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). *A minimum of five (5) years of relevant IA work experience is required. 4. 5. *US Citizenship is required.
