TAKE NO THOUGHT FOR YOUR LIFE Therefore I say to you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye drink, nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat; and the body more than raiment?” Mathew 6:25 (KJV) It is no longer news that the pressures and competitions of life on a global scale have become so fierce that people now operate in a panic mode. To survive, they often times get involved in all kinds of schemes and gimmicks just to make ends meet. Unfortunately, it is at the point where believers are tempted to join them. That is why I have come your way today to remind you to take no thought for your life because the God you serve is still in control. Like you already know, faith cometh by hearing and also fear cometh by hearing. The difference is in what you are hearing. If all you hear is the world reports on radio and television, fear builds up in you and all you think of is failure, probability of termination of that highly paid job, probability of termination of the contract you just won and all the likes and ultimately bankruptcy. And if you keep in this line of thought, very soon they will manifest. Beloved, the power of our thoughts can really not be underestimated. That is why you must not think yourself into debts, failure and bankruptcy. Dont give the devil a foothold over your life by the reason of your thoughts, because the devil will not stop at a foot hold, he will graduate to stronghold if you dont stop him. Beloved, you are a product of your thoughts and what you think on is fed by what you hear and what you hear is a function of the people you hang around. If you hang around the newspapers and negative people, get ready for a fear-filled life. But if you hang around God, listen to His word. Meditate on the word over and over again. Listen to the testimonies of those who have made it. Read after successful people, rather than get lost in fear, you will catch the “can do” spirit that will bring about positive changes to your life. So I challenge you today, take no thought.
