TAKE ONE is a very unlike Mainak Bhoumik film.It deals with layers and sub-layers of human psyche, slience and sometimes even juxtaposes the alterego lyrically...The reference of SITA(Ramayana),built in through Sudarshan Chakravortys brilliant choreography, has its share of abstractions. What looms large is Swastika Mukherjee whose portrayal of Doel Mitra shall remain with me...Its her best after BHOOTER BHOBISHHOT.This is hardly a critique but Anwesha is a discovery with her nuances...Anashua Majumdar and Arindam Sil keeps us hooked when they come on screen. Vikramjit Chaudhury looks very good, needs more polish as the shrewd climber and has delivered a good performance. Ajopa and Jaya Sanghita take a bow for the costume and jewellery... Rahul Arunoday Banerjee is very good but has limited usage in the film.I love the backgrpund score..I have an afterthought which I must get candid about--Is this a humble tribute to Rituparno Ghosh?..Go and watch TAKE ONE ,if you need some time for introspection..
