TAKE REFUGE People feel secure in their homes until natural disaster hits or robbers break in. People feel safe in their families and with friends until crisis hits of separation, death or violent rebellion. People take for granted their health until sickness, disease or injury kicks in. As for me and my house, I have no other refuge than this command of Jesus, “Only believe” that is my refuge. When natural disaster hits, only believe that God will see you through. When separation hits, only believe that God is powerful and faithful to His faithful ones. When sickness comes, only believe that it will not last long – it may be to stop you a while to improve your relationship with God. As believers, our troubles are not to impair us but improve us when we face them in faith, believing that it is to advance our cause and course in the Lord. So, take refuge in Him; He is there to walk you through. Psalm 91:15 “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him.”
