TAKING IT TO THE STREETS 2thestreets.org SAD NIGHT ON THE STREETS Tonight while serving on the streets I received some sad news about one of the veterans we serve. Monday while crossing the street Whiskey and his dog Abigail where hit by a semi and dragged 300 down the road. The semi driver was turning right on red and didnt see them. Abigail was killed and Whiskey is all bruised up and hurting. His wheelchair is bent up. When wed approach the camp and honk to let them know we had arrived they would let Abigail off her leash and she would come running to the van to greet us. She was such a beautiful dog and a great companion to Whiskey. Tonight when we were given the news I was so proud of our volunteers who showed such great compassion, poured out love and brought HOPE to our friend who was hurting. Thats why where on the streets to bring HOPE TO THE HURTING. Thank you to all who invest and allow us to be your ambassadors on the streets. Taking It To The Streets P.O.
