TALENTS FOR HUMANITY AND CYNFULL PROMOTIONS PRESENTS: BATTLE 4 LOVE This Battle of the Bands will take place for 5 weeks, the 5th week being the final competition. The first event date will be October 18th 2013. A large portion of the proceeds will be used to help needy children in Africa and/or surrounding areas. Providing health care, education and much more! Competition Rules: Bands participating in this event will each be given 50 presale tickets of which a minimum number of 25 must be sold in order to perform at $15 a piece and there will be an upcharge of $5 at the door for minors. If bands sell all 50 of their tickets they will also receive $5 for each of the ticket sales. Ticket sales account for 25% of the bands score in the competition. Each 10 tickets a band sells will add a point to their score not to exceed 10 points. Time slots will be based on ticket sales. Bands will be permitted extra tickets if needed. The other 3 categories worth up to 10 points each will be Stage Presence: Your image and performance, Sound: includes all members, and Originality: even if your band does covers we want to see that you brought something original to them. 2 bands from each night will be selected to compete on the last weekend and the winners from this competition will perform together on the final night. There will be 1000s in prizes to be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Prizes: 1st place will receive $1000 cash, 12 hours of studio time, Digital distribution on iTunes, and their music will be submitted to 3 major labels to include RCA, Universal, and Warner Brothers! 2nd place will receive 24 t shirts and 1000 stickers both with their bands design. 3rd place will receive a 3 hour professional photo shoot for the band. Many other prizes will be given to bands and fans at this event.
