TALLMADGE, Ohio - Police say the boyfriend of a Tallmadge woman found dead last month is a suspect in the murder. The bodies of Wendy Ralston, 31, and her 5-year-old son Peyton were found in a wooded area near their home on Aug. 10. They were reported missing on Aug. 7. Investigators said the remains were wrapped in a comforter and a sheet, then stuff in a duffle bag. The bodies were so badly decomposed they were sent to a professor of anthropology at Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania to help determine cause of death. On Thursday, Tallmadge Police Lt. Ronald Williams said Ralston’s 39-year-old live-in boyfriend is a suspect. WTMT Cleveland is not releasing his name until charges are filed. Williams said the case is expected to be presented to a Summit County grand jury within two weeks. Calling hours for Wendy and Peyton will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bagnoli Funeral Home on Southwest Avenue in Tallmadge. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Tallmadge Lutheran Church on East Avenue. The mother and son will be laid to rest during a private burial at a later date.
