TANIA IS HERE!!!! New Life for Tania Tania was rescued from the streets of San Juan, emaciated, malnourished, dehydrated and near death. She has mange and has tested positive for Ehrlichia. She was found wearing a harness and appears to have been abandoned months ago. We’ve seen a lot of dogs in bad shape, but Tania may be one of the worst. We agreed to help our colleagues at Love Puerto Rico Goldens and accepted Tania into our program. After receiving antibiotics and regaining a bit of strength, Tania was cleared to fly from Puerto Rico, and landed at Philadelphia International Airport on Mon., Dec. 8. DVGRR volunteers met her flight and transported her to Golden Gateway… the ideal place for her to begin her new journey toward a new life in the New Year. We have the facility, the on-site veterinary hospital, and the dedicated staff ready and able to help her recuperate. We’ve succeeded with other tough cases and know we can help Tania become a healthy, happy and playful dog. We have almost 100 adopters waiting to adopt a dog from us and are certain that we can find her a loving and forever home. However, we need your help to offset the costs of her care and rehabilitation. All in, we expect Tania’s expenses (including air transportation, vaccinations/blood tests/X-rays, spay surgery, Ehrlichia treatment and other needed medication, plus her food and overall rehabilitation) to total $3,400.00 or more. loveanimals.org/new-life-for-tania.html?rm=f A little goes a long way. If many people each donate a small amount, we come together to raise the funds to help Tania and dogs like her. We are stronger when working together – let’s show Tania what we can do for her! With your help of even a $5.00 or $10.00 donation, you will play an important role in providing Tania with the care she needs to fully recover and be ready to be adopted. We want to send Tania to the loving home she deserves in the New Year! With your help, we can. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO TO HELP THE DVGRR DOGS!!!!
