TANKTHEGASTAX.NET PAC Pro-Taxpayer Group Endorses Anderson for State Representative Today (8-25-2014) Marty Lamb, Chairman of TanktheGasTax.net PAC, endorsed Karen Anderson for State Representative in the 2nd Franklin District. “Anderson has pledged that, when elected, she will vote to repeal the gas tax being linked to inflation. Karen understands that Massachusetts taxpayers already pay enough in taxes and that there needs to be spending reforms. I am pleased to endorse Karen Anderson for State Representative”, said Lamb. “Karen will never vote in favor of taxation without representation.” Lamb was one of the original Chairmen of the Yes on 1 ballot initiative to repeal automatic gas tax hikes. He left the organization when the Office of Campaign and Political Finance prohibited the ballot initiative from educating voters regarding which legislators were supporters and which were opponents. In response, Lamb left the organization to form the TanktheGasTax.net PAC which can educate voters on the voting records of incumbents. “Tying the Gas Tax to inflation is the coward’s way out. We must repeal this audacious move by the legislature. It is reaching into the pockets of our citizens continually, extracting an ever-increasing amount, whether justified or not.
